Shipping Policy
The Journey Tree ships travel accessories from India to eligible destinations shown at checkout. Orders are processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day.
Shipping cost and currency
Shipping options, shipping cost, taxes, and the final order total are shown at checkout before payment. Our store currently displays checkout pricing in Indian Rupees (INR) unless Shopify checkout shows another supported currency.
India delivery
Domestic India orders typically arrive within 3-7 business days after dispatch, depending on destination and courier availability.
International delivery
International orders typically arrive within 10-20 business days after dispatch, depending on destination, customs processing, and local carrier service. Some remote locations may take longer.
Duties, taxes, and customs
International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, GST, customs fees, brokerage fees, or local taxes charged by the destination country. Unless these charges are clearly collected at checkout, they are the responsibility of the customer and may be collected by the carrier or customs authority before delivery.
Tracking and delays
Once an order ships, tracking information is sent by email where available. Delivery estimates begin from dispatch, not from order placement. Customs checks, carrier delays, weather, and local holidays can affect delivery dates.
Undeliverable packages
If a package is returned because the address was incorrect, customs charges were unpaid, or delivery was refused, we will contact the customer to resolve the issue. Additional shipping charges may apply before reshipment.
